REGIONAL SALES MANAGER C&I


The role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our market leading sales team within the Commercial & Industrial burner sector, mainly covering the North of England and Scotland to promote the Riello range of burner solutions. There is also a requirement to support our chosen Irish partners.
The position involves direct selling and support to OEMs and the UK & Irish distribution channels. This role will also involve a “cradle to grave” approach to the specification sector by working closely with engineers at the M&E Consultant stage and following this through to the relevant M&E Contractors and beyond.
The aim is to promote the Riello Commercial & Industrial Burners brand and values to all client groups.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the following functions;
Day-to-day running of the regions sales operation, ensuring sales targets are met;
Maintain and increase customer base, visiting key contacts on a pre-determined call plan;
Maintain and support data, keep accurate records and provide timely reports as required;
Extensive travel in area of operations is expected; with the potential of a number of overnight stays each month being required.
Ability to identify and bring back to the business important market data.
Identify marketing opportunities whether via case studies or other sources.
Deliver CPD presentations into the M&E Consultant sector
Utilizing and updating CRM system.
Ad hoc duties as required.
Candidate Profile to include;
· The candidate will ideally have experience of working in the HVAC sector, in particular Commercial & Industrial heating and have a good understanding of hot water / steam boilers and their route to market.
· A strong technical understanding of burners, boilers and heating systems would be an advantage but training will be provided.
· An understanding and experience of the specification route to market, including a sound knowledge of how to work with M&E Consultants and Contractors.
· Ability to self-motivate to achieve and exceed targets, maintaining professional standards of behaviour and attitude.
· Good geographical knowledge of the area;
· Well organised and methodical – ability to prioritise workloads efficiently and effectively;
· First class telephone skills – polite manner, customer responsive attitude;
· Excellent communication skills – written and oral, including good presentation skills;
· Good literacy and numeracy skills – GCSE grade 4 or above in English and Maths, or equivalent;
· Good negotiation skills;
· IT systems literate; competent and self-sufficient use of relevant databases and competent use of Microsoft Office systems including Outlook email required;
· Full and clean driving licence
· Ability to self-motivate and work under own initiative or as part of a team;
· Professional attitude to customers with mature, positive outlook;
· Proactive attitude to all tasks, demonstrating high levels of energy and commitment;
· Methodical and accurate, ensuring keen attention to detail;
· Smart, presentable appearance, professional image;
· Results driven with a desire to achieve and exceed set targets.
In return the success candidate will receive a competitive remuneration and BIK package, dependent upon the individual’s skills and experience
