Riello Burners keep Tate Exhibits warm
Riello RLS300 BP/MX Low NOx dual fuel burners have been fitted on Hoval Cosmo 2000 boilers at the Tate Gallery. The burners can run on oil or gas, and changing from one fuel to the other is by means of a simple switch. Like the rest of the R Series, they are light, reliable and compact - while still offering considerable output.
The Tate Britain specified that they wanted to use Riello burners to meet their needs. It is important to maintain a certain level of temperature and humidity to avoid any damage to the art work at the site.
Bill Howell of Hoval said: ?The client specified that they wanted Riello burners and they match with our boilers. Riello burners are very reliable, the right price, perform well and have a good back up service.?
Tate Britain technical manager John Jappy said: ?Riello?s burners were installed on our new heating boilers for the gallery. The reason I specified Riello was because of my previous experience of their burners and, in my opinion, the unrivalled level of reliability over their competitors? burners.?
?We need to maintain very tight tolerances on temperature and humidity in all the galleries so as to avoid damaging the art work, hence the need for specifying the most reliable burner possible,? said Mr Jappy.
